Namalsk gear
The kit that only exists on Namalsk — the LEHS suit and its parts, the APSI, the NAC and winter clothing, the quest modules, and the documents that tell the island's story.
The Namalsk mods add their own equipment on top of everything DayZed already runs. It is real gear: you can carry it through the Nexus network to any other map, and plenty of it is better than what you will find there.
Every item here has its own page with live spawn data — this is the tour, not the database.
The suit
LEHS Mk3 — the Lantia Expeditionary Hazard Suit. Not looted: you manufacture it at
the Phoenix oil rig, and doing so is the endgame of the island. What it gives you:
- Immunity to frostbite, outright. The game does not evaluate it while you wear the suit.
- Full protection in an EVR storm, the same as the APSI.
- The ability to survive on the other side of the Lantia portal, which is the point.
It comes with the
LEHS Mk3 Helmet, worn separately on your head. Wear the helmet even
when you are not going anywhere — it tells you when an EVR storm is running above ground, which is
the only reliable warning the game gives you.
Three parts can be swapped if you find spares: the
LEHS Mk3 battery, the
LEHS Mk3 O2 Tank and the
LEHS Mk3 Helmet visor. Pick them up when you see them.
The APSI
APSI is the poor player's version of the suit, and honestly it is most of the
value for a fraction of the work. Worn in your eyewear slot, switched on, it keeps you
conscious through an EVR storm and takes the storm's damage in your place.
Two rules, and people die to both:
- It must be worn on your face. In a backpack it does nothing.
- It must be switched on. Worn but off does nothing.
It also warns you when a storm is building, which is worth the slot on its own.
Quest equipment
These are the pieces of the Lantia chain. None of them are useful for anything else, and none of them are craftable.

Clothing worth taking
Namalsk's clothing is built for the island, which means insulation first.
Ghillie sets come in a winter pattern and a tan-and-dark one — suit, hood, cloak, shrug, and matching rifle wraps. On an island of snowfields and short sightlines they are genuinely strong, and the winter set is the only camouflage on the network that actually matches the ground.
NAC gear is the island's high-end military kit: a plate carrier with its own pouches and holster, a tactical vest, a ballistic vest. Good protection, good capacity.
Patrol and field clothing — Gorka, Sumrak and Yeger sets in winter and woodland patterns, each with its own hood. The hoods are separate items and they matter: your head and face freeze faster than your chest.
Bags come in white and winter-camo versions of the field, assault, combat and tactical backpacks, plus a couple of buttpacks.
There are also berets in five colours, two helmets and a bandana, which are cosmetic more than practical.
Tools and medical
Electrical Repair Kit — repairs electronics, which on this island means the
equipment that matters.
First Aid Pouch — a compact first aid pouch.- Duct tape and epoxy putty — repair consumables.
Hyper oxygenated blood and the
VEGA.n7-PAN enzyme — experimental medical
items tied to the island's story. Read the documents before you decide what to do with them.
Anadyr province map — the Anadyr province map. Get one early; the island is small but
it is not intuitive.
The documents
Namalsk hides its story in readable items rather than cutscenes, and it is worth an hour of someone's time. There are Athena situational and expedition reports, the project planning documents, two accounts of the crisis on the island, Netanya Keitner's personal log, the PRS reports on the world beyond the portal, and five Phoenix crew logs from the oil rig.
They are scattered across the Athena complex and the rig. None of them help you survive. They are the only reason any of the rest of it makes sense.
There is also a vinyl record of the island's soundtrack, which is exactly what it sounds like.
What is not in the catalog
The wiki's item list is for things a player can hold, so it leaves out the parts of the mod that are scenery: particle effects, the infected variants, the wildlife, and fixed world props like the oil rig's printer. They exist in game — you just will not find pages for them here.
For where any of this spawns, open the item's own page: every one carries a live table of the containers and buildings it appears in, read straight from the mission files. Note that Namalsk reads differently from the other maps — see the island guide for why.
