What it yields
×N is the most the whole carcass gives. Where a second number appears, that is how many come out of each cut — a bear’s 8 + 8 means you only get the full count by working every zone. How full each item comes out varies with the animal’s condition: Hare Leg 75–100%, Fat 10–20%, Bones 20–30%.
Where it lives
Animals are placed by the game's own spawner rather than the loot economy, so there are no per-map counts to list — only whether a terrain ships the species at all.
