Guides
How DayZed actually works — base building, bunkers, crafting, quests, Nexus travel and Namalsk, written against live server settings.
Base Building 1
Bunkers 4
Underground bunkers
Dig a hidden entrance, lock a hatch behind you and expand a private underground base room by room — where you are allowed to build one, what each step costs, and what it takes to lose it.
Raiding and defending a bunker
Exactly how many charges, grenades or rounds each wall, door and hatch takes, what the map actually spawns to pay for it, and what it costs the owner to put the damage back.
Bunker raid alarm
Build a SecureZone Defense Unit next to your hatch and get pinged on Discord the moment someone starts blowing it open — even while you are logged out.
Bunker upkeep
Once three people are on your hatch codelock the bunker starts charging a daily bill in nails, planks, sheet metal and cinder blocks. Miss it and the hatch, walls and doors rot from the inside.
Crafting 3
Workbench
Place a workbench, fit it with tools and looted upgrade modules, and craft every piece of DayZed furniture and every bunker wall from its recipe paper.
Spray paints and weapon skins
Recolour your clothing, your gear and your bunker hatch with looted spray cans — how the paint action actually works, what it costs, and how to strip it off again.
Custom flags and armbands
Put your own picture on your flag, your armband and the flag hanging in your base — and hand matching armbands to a whole group, VIP or not.
Namalsk 4
Namalsk
An in-depth guide to the toughest map DayZ has to offer.
Surviving Namalsk
The cold, the blizzards and the EVR storms kill more players on Namalsk than anything holding a rifle — here is what actually protects you from each.
Namalsk gear
The kit that only exists on Namalsk — the LEHS suit and its parts, the APSI, the NAC and winter clothing, the quest modules, and the documents that tell the island's story.
The journey to Lantia
Namalsk's endgame, end to end — print the hazard suit, start a reactor under Athena during an EVR storm, and pick the module combination that decides whether you get two minutes on the far side or seven.
Player 3
Stamina Buff
The percentage next to your stamina bar is earned by moving and lost by standing still — sprint to build it, idle and it drains away.
Skull trophies
The server has no kill feed. A named skull mounted on a planted spear is the next best thing — proof, with a name on it, standing outside your gate.
Armour, gear wear, and what members get
Clothing here takes a fraction of the damage it would in vanilla, so a firefight wears gear down instead of ruining it — plus what armour does, and member kit.
Quests 2
Quests, keycards and events
Tiered keycards, the map questlines they unlock, meteor crash events and the long road to Zaruun — what to grab first, and what quietly expires in your pocket.
The road to Zaruun
Four artifact fragments, a carrier from the deepest keycard room on the network, and a pyramid that opens a portal for everyone at once — the longest chain DayZed has, start to finish.
Travel 1
Vehicles 2
Vehicle rules and automatic cleanup
How many vehicles you can keep, what counts as a vehicle, and how unmoved or over-cap vehicles are removed automatically.
Flipping a stuck vehicle
Your car ends up on its roof sooner or later. Five tools can put it back on its wheels — and a field shovel is not one of them.
